About this photo
A Kitchener story
The roofer who builds a rink every winter.
Every winter Peter builds Hamblyshockeyville — a refrigerated, arena-quality sheet in his own Kitchener backyard, with full boards, goal creases and three heated dressing rooms. The same hands and the same standards go into every roof he puts them on.

Found a leak two other roofers missed
He was up there twenty minutes, showed me the flashing on his phone, and had it fixed the same week. Straight answer, fair price, cleaned up after himself.
Trustworthy
I have known Peter and Hambly Contracting for more than 10 years, and I cannot recommend him enough. Peter has done work on my home, including my roof as well as eavestrough/gutter repairs and cleaning, and I have been extremely happy every single time. His rates are incredibly reasonable, but honestly, what stands out most to me is how genuine, honest and trustworthy Peter is. As a single woman who owns her home, it means a lot to know that I can have someone come to my home who I completely trust and feel comfortable with. That kind of peace of mind is priceless. Peter’s workmanship is impeccable, he takes pride in what he does, and he always cleans up after himself. He also takes the time to explain things, provide updates and give honest advice, which I really appreciate because construction, renovations and home maintenance are definitely not my area of expertise! After more than a decade of knowing Peter and seeing the quality of his work, I never feel like I’m being pressured into something I don’t need. I know I’m getting honest advice, fair pricing and quality workmanship. 5/5 without hesitation! If you’re looking for someone reliable, honest, reasonably priced and genuinely good at what he does, I would highly recommend Peter and Hambly Contracting.
Called about a small repair — showed up same day
No job too small, no attitude. You deal with Peter himself, start to finish. Already booked him for the garage.
